The Role:
The role of Motion Graphics designer here at Hogarth is to create motion based graphical media for broadcast and internal videos, this includes the creation of title and logo animations, product and pack animations, basic special effects and com- positing. A thorough knowledge of After Effects, Trapcode plug-ins & other CS5 software is vital as well as the understanding of Z depth and particle systems within AE. A working knowledge of 3D software is an advantage however not critical. We recommend Maya or Cinema4D as standard. A general understanding of the AE renderer & 3D rendering techniques is also and advantage.

You will be working in a small but expanding team of visual effects artists & editors. You would be a vital part of an open, enjoyable & friendly working environment where we always share new knowledge and techniques that are available to us. The department prides itself with working and problem solving as a team and we always look out for each other.

There will be ample opportunity for this position to progress within Hogarth Worldwide depending on own initiative for personal & professional development.


Key Responsibilities (to include but not limited to):

· Working closely with post producers & creatives to design & build broadcast ready media.
· Use conceptual design, typographic skills to enhance existing productions as required.
· Be able to take a brief through to concept and deliver to a high standard.
· Advise on production constraints in a simple and effective manner.
· Working to specific specifications as well as tight deadlines.
· Staying on top of the technological curve in regards to production tools and techniques.
