Position Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Tax & Treasury Manager, the Treasury Manager will support across Thermo Fisher China entities in all aspects of treasury activities (including banking, controls, funding, investments, and operations, etc.) to keep robust treasury functions. In addition, working with the Corporate treasury and the preferred banking partners is also part of the responsibilities in terms of managing proper treasury strategies arising from the rapid business expansion and on-going regulatory changes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
?Ensure optimal cash positions and liquidity are efficiently managed within China to support rapid growing and evolving business.
?Lead the integration of treasury control and implement effective treasury process in cash management, FX, and funding to ensure the compliance.
?Assist local team in understanding the up-to-date regulations of forex controls in China and develop/coordinate effective financial arrangements to ensure the compliance.
?Lead efforts jointly with Finance SSC managers to improve process for both strategic projects and daily operational activities including cash pool, payment & collection, approval matrix, etc.
?Develop and maintain good banking relationships while keep in tune new treasury practices for internal applications.
?Follow up on the financial subsidy forecasting and applications.
?Follow up on the cash repatriation, e.g. dividend, cross-border loans, etc.
?Develop strategies to enhance cash forecasting/reporting capabilities.
?Ad hoc projects

Requirement and qualifications:
?Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other business related field.
?Over 5 years in a treasury function role of large MNC.
?Experience working with cross-functional teams with a demonstrated ability to network and influence others.
?Strong problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills.
?Basic understanding of the hedging strategies, FX markets and instruments.
?Fluency in English (both written and spoken) with excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
?Ability to handle multiple and competing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

?ACCA/CPA preferred.
?Experience using multiple Internet Banking systems and SAP preferred.
