POSITION SUMMARY
NVH Engineer who will be responsible for supporting company product lines (gas and diesel exhaust systems, cold end exhaust) to develop acoustic solutions to meet customer requirements.
The initial emphasis will be placed on muffler tuning/NVH back pressure prediction/management product development including running GT-Power models, transmission and insertion loss testing, and supporting engine and chassis dyno testing. Additionally, the engineer will be expected to keep up with the latest technologies and work to bookshelf innovative NVH solutions for the Company. The engineer should be an experienced multi-tasker and team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Major Job Responsibilities:
?Responsible for Developing RFQ proposals, working on NVH tuning normal development, Assessing and Judging on NVH test result. And in charge of final subjective noise listening and evaluation
?Develop GT-Power models for intake, engine and exhaust systems
?Support customer technical reviews with NVH solutions for exhaust systems
?Use and optimize various analytical and experimental tools to develop exhaust muffler systems.
?Trouble shoot exhaust NVH issue and sound quality issue.
?Make preparation, instrumentation, calibration, documentation and set up of test samples
?Be responsible for technical report, presentation, explanation and communication to/with customer for the acoustic technical issues/problems/complaints...
?Benchmark competitor's parts for value and performance
?Support product engineers to resolve customer issues
?Work with product engineers to develop and bookshelf new technologies
?Lead and support advanced project team
?Set up and manage test programs to validate acoustic predictions, analyze the data produced and create standardized test procedures also for new testing techniques and methods.

Major Job Qualifications Experience/Education (Required/Preferred)
Education:B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering (with emphasis on acoustic, noise & vibration). Advanced degree (Master and Ph.D.) is preferred.
ExperienceAt least 4 years Acoustic/NVH related working experience in automotive industry. Experience with NVH testing & analysis software: LMS, Larson Davis, B&K
Familiar with GT-POWER software modeling, simulation, analysis and reporting
Working knowledge of active noise control
Experience with CAE software and analysis tools: Nastran, Abaqus, Fluent, Sysnoise, Hypermesh, and LMS Virtual Lab
Language:Profound knowledge of English language in reading, writing and speaking
Computer:Familiar with MS-Office application
Technical Skill: Good understanding of Engineering and Manufacturing processes and documentations.
Soft Skill:Good communication skill both in English and Chinese. ;Be self motivated and able to coordinate multiple programs concurrently
Others:Be able to travel as required.
